Our mandate is derived from national and state-level environmental legislation, which empowers us to regulate and oversee environmental activities within Edo State. We are entrusted with the responsibility of upholding environmental laws, promoting compliance, and fostering a culture of environmental stewardship among citizens and stakeholders. Our mandate also includes promoting sustainable development principles and ensuring that environmental considerations are integrated into decision-making processes across sectors.
