Our ministry is dedicated to ensuring the preservation and enhancement of Edo State’s natural environment for the benefit of present and future generations. Our mandate is derived from national and state-level environmental legislation, which empowers us to regulate and oversee environmental activities within Edo State. We are entrusted with the responsibility of upholding environmental laws, promoting compliance, and fostering a culture of environmental stewardship among citizens and stakeholders. Our mandate also includes promoting sustainable development principles and ensuring that environmental considerations are integrated into decision-making processes across sectors.
